A Memoir: Autobiography of Sridev Mookerjea was formally launched at the Calcutta Press Club on 16 December 2025. The book chronicled the remarkable life journey of Dr. Sridev Mookerjea, tracing his rise from humble beginnings to becoming a leading figure in the global shipping industry, particularly in Singapore.
The autobiography offered an intimate account of perseverance, leadership, and ethical commitment. Through personal reflections and professional milestones, Dr. Mookerjea narrated how determination and vision shaped his career and contributions to the international shipping community.
The launch event was graced by distinguished chief guests. Renowned Bengali essayist and poet **Sayed Hasmat Jalal**, Editor of *The Daily Statesman*, addressed the literary significance of the memoir. **Mr. Sabyasachi Hazara**, shipping legend, Varuna Award recipient, and former Chairman & Managing Director of major maritime organisations, shared insights on leadership and legacy. The evening was enriched by the presence of **Arnab Bhattacharya**, noted sarod player and music producer at AB Music Records.
The event witnessed an engaged audience and marked the memoir as an inspiring testament to resilience and achievement.
